Tara Samaai

Tara Samaai, a yoga teacher born in Cape Town, South Africa, started her yoga journey as a self-taught practitioner around 2014. Her curiosity about the practice continued to expand with every class and workshop attended and that lead her to complete a 200 hour YTT at wild thing + be yoga  in sea point in 2019.

‘The yoga practice in all its vastness is always teaching us that we are students learning something new every day. Understanding how to treat our bodies with care and compassion is so important and it feels so good and it’s one of the many reasons I love to share this practice’

Her teaching includes vinyasa style flows ranging from slow to strong with a deep inspiration from Ashtanga yoga. As of lately exploring a slower practice has become an important part of the journey. She also loves to sequence class from movements often included within her own self-practice. Creating new, sweaty classes that focus on mobility, intuitive movement and guided meditations inspire her to share more of the practice.
