About the Course
A journey through movement, story, sound & connection.
This Heritage Day, we gather at Ananda Sanctuary to explore our living heritage — what we have inherited, what has shaped us, and what we consciously choose to carry forward.
Through a gentle and immersive 2-hour journey of:
Opening Circle → Yoga → Breathwork → Ancestral Reflection → Sound → Meditation → Closing Circle → Tea
We’ll explore questions of belonging and rootedness, inclusion and exclusion, separation and sanctuary — and consider how we might collectively create a heritage that is more just, equitable and community-driven.
WHAT DO WE CARRY?
Through facilitated conversation and storytelling, we’ll explore:
🌿 What traditions did you inherit?
🌿 What did your mother or grandmother teach you?
🌿 What do you want to pass on?
🌿 What have you consciously chosen to leave behind?
🌿 What does home mean to you?
At the heart of our gathering is one simple question:
“What have I inherited — and what will I leave behind?”
As we move through the seasonal threshold of the Equinox, we invite reflection not only on where we come from, but on what kind of future we are creating together.
A space to listen.
A space to remember.
A space to question.
A space to belong.
